Need help installing older Tiger Woods game on newer PC.?

I am trying to install Tiger Woods PGA Tour Collection on my computer. I have Windows xp home edition and when I go to install the game it says cannot find Shell.dll and then wont do anything. Any help would be appreciated. I was mainly wondering if it is possible to install on xp and if so how to do it. thanks.

Yes you can install older games. Is the disk that you are installing from scratched, or is it a burnt copy? It sounds like you are missing a file from the game. Also if you install older games onto your updated computer you can right click the shortcut to the game and change its compatibility to an earlier version of windows.
